Love your project! In seven years since birth I have rarely seen a post-birth stomach similar to mine. It’s been such a joy to find your project and I really want to support it.

As a nurse for over 40 years with a doctorate in Public Health I have worked extensively with women and children. I was partofhe team that helped make Kaiser Hayward the first Baby-Friendly hospital in CA and visited other countries to se how childbirth and motherhood is addressed, including such countries as Cuba where new mothers sit in a circle after birth and nurse their babies as a group; where children grow up watching women nurse babies and toddlers in public as the norm (and how better t learn and do). This is a magnificent project and a great tribute to women and their bodies.

As a woman who has struggled over half her life with an eating disorder, and now coming to terms with her post-pregnancy body, I believe this project can help women of all shapes and sizes accept that the changes to their body are worth it. Every woman is beautiful as she is and each body is unique in every way—babies only make them more unique! I admire the women who participated, and Ms. Beall, for being daring enough to show the world that REAL women are beautiful!

Beautiful! great to rejuvinate the human spirit! And break the attempt to brainwash us with patterns of the supposed beautiful people for marketing purposes. I saw way more beautiful people here!

This is a documentary of true beauty as we know it to be. It is high time we turned the lights on. The gap between what we see of ourselves when we step out of the showers and what we have to be when we arrive at work must begin to narrow. We must demand it and the media must react to our wishes.

Amazing and wonderful project!! As a mom of 11 months old identical twin girls I can relate to many pictures & stories on your site. I have been thinking about submitting my story but I still have to find the time for it, which is not easy. If you ever plan to do any photoshoots in Costa Rica, I would be happy to participate :)

I am a mother of three. I just had my third child two months ago via unexpected C section. This is an amazing project and body of work. I love it and wish there was more like it, we can use more of this around us to support each other.
