My heart hurts when I allow myself to be fully present to these words and that young girl. As you said…what was her experience in that moment…did she transition instanly? Or did she feel the pain of the crash on the concrete and then slowly transition…what and how deep in darkness and depression was she to feel no way out…

All of that was driven by words, thought and simple negative energy….an unfortunate tragedy being a result of their own inner pain which had been inflected from yet another and others before them…

It is disturbing to think and be reminded that weapons are not necessarily the things that will kill a person…it only takes one tiny thought/ seed that grows…and grows…and grows….

And dependent on your own level of inner strength and self worth, you can be dead in an instant and for what? A silly, mean and negative thought that wasn’t even the truth of what is….

It hurts my soul and makes my heart ache….

Thank you for sharing xoxox

Hello lovely Jade…well it has been some time since I photographed with you and amazingly enough my body has become larger. I have allowed fear to stop me from feeling and being free to walk in my neighborhood and other life occurrences have allowed for me to fall in strange slumps of laziness and comfort eating and as a result my body. Is the largest I have seen it. There was also a sudden death in the work place and. I have really seen the shift in myself since then. Thank you for doing what you are doing. This evening I found myself coming back to this site, curious as to what has been happening what has transpired and I am in awe and I am inspired to be a different women inside, I am not really sure how to go about the change I seek, simply because I am present to so much baggage around my body. However what does work and is a good first step is this project. Thank you Jade…..simply….Thank you xoxoxox thank you for providing a safe place to be and to feel beautiful. Xoxox

Have Your Voice Heard!

Now Accepting Stories From Women (Not Just Mothers) About Your Bodies From Around The World Of Any Race, Any Ethnicity, Any Sexual Orientation, Any Age!

Have YOUR Voice Heard!

Industries make millions of dollars when women feel insecure, ugly, competitive, & self-conscious. Let’s change that.

Women and mothers have the most amazing, difficult, passionate, and inspiring stories to tell about their bodies, their tiger stripes, battles with cancer & illness, stretch marks, sexual abuse or their thinning out, their gaining weight, their breast-feeding, their miscarriages and beyond. So many stories swirl around these bodies of ours and sharing our stories is the best way to empower ourselves, to realize we are not alone, to help others embrace their own bodies.

Silence keeps our voices and our beautiful selves unheard. By telling your story maybe you help another woman feel strong enough to tell hers.

Please include your name, city/state/country, phone number, email, and your story. Please do NOT include a photo.

Take Your Time! Compose your thoughts. There is no rush. Take notes. Maybe write an outline of your memories, thoughts, & feelings. Then, sit down, and write your story!

Here are some questions that can guide your story but by no means are these required guidelines:

  • How do you feel about your body?
  • What story or stories have you been carrying with you?
  • Was there a specific moment that defined your story or is it layered over time? Explain.
  • What hopes and dreams do you have for future generations of women?
  • What has helped your progress to feel beautiful & cultivate self-esteem?
  • Do you have marks from child-birth and what story do those represent for you?
  • Have you been keeping anything inside that you wish you could finally get out?
  • Have you been able to improve how you feel about yourself and if so, how?
  • Did you struggle to get pregnant? Did you have a miscarriage? Did you ever lose a child?
  • Did you ever have to abort a pregnancy?
  • What is your story about your body?
  • What would you like to be different in how you view your story and your body?
