Every Friday night, Jade Beall, the Founder of The Shala, holds her Rockin’ Dance Classes. It’s like church around here. Friday 6:30 EVERY WEEK! 435 E. 9th Street in Downtown Tucson! $10 or $5 (Students) & Classes capped at 40 dancers only!
Jade fell in love with the dances of west and central Africa at a young age and has been teaching her own style for almost 10 years! Her classes are meant to inspire everyone to feel supported to let their bodies move, to explore, to feel safe enough to try knowing that our community will always cheer you on! Every class has live drumming!
Come by and just watch if you are hesitant about taking a class! We’d love to have you! We’re pretty sure that once you walk through the glass doors into The Shala, you will see that Jade’s classes are accessible for varying age ranges and athletic ability. The bottom line is to have fun! If you need to take a break, go for it! No one is judging you here! We’re just excited you showed up.
