At last! I’m fighting for my wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, and 2 granddaughters in a world that hates real and beautiful women and only loves pretend women sold to us by the media. The only mirror anyone should trust is what is reflected in the eyes of someone who loves you unconditionally. Thank you Beautiful Body Project!

I’m a photographer too and have become more interested in the naked body as I’ve got older. The less perfect I am the less inhibited! It is great to find this project at this time in my life. I wish I had known something about others post baby bodies earlier. I thought mine was the only one that was so battered by the experience. Thank you x

Jade’s belief in capturing the beautiful women as mothers, just as they are…. is an inspirational modern day example of women’s liberation. I worry about reinforcing the idea that beauty is the most important thing about a woman. That said, I am excited by the prospect of expanding and warping the idea of what is meant by “beauty.” I want to shift the paradigm!

Because I need to heal and I know I’m not the only one.
